Having trouble getting comfortable in your car? Do your seat belts dig into your shoulder or mash your underwire? This padded car seatbelt cover is for you! I began making these after abdominal surgery made wearing a seatbelt uncomfortable for me and store-bought covers did not provide enough padding or length.

A wide variety of unicorns are available.
– Realistic glitter silver unicorn with stars on a light pink background
– White glitter unicorn with roses (Fabric 19)
– Kittycorn with rainbow mane and tail on a teal background (Fabric 13)
– Soft flannel pink unicorn with Pegasus, castle, donuts, hearts, and shooting stars (Fabric 12)
– Light blue and purple unicorns on a light blue background
– Rainbow unicorns on a pink, blue, and purple background (Fabric 11)

Each car seatbelt cover has 3 cotton layers and cotton-poly batting.
– The two cotton flannel layers are quilted to the batting for easier folding.
– The top fashion fabric is a 100% cotton fabric of your choice.
– I pre-wash and dry all fabric on high heat before sewing to prevent shrinking.
– The edges are topstitched to prevent shifting of the fabric and seams during use.
– Unless otherwise indicated, seat belt covers can be machine washed and dried on low heat.
– Closures are soft edge 3/4″? VELCRO® Brand hook and loop fastener or T5 plastic snaps in black or light gray.

This cover comes in 4 sizes:
– Adult: 9″? x 7″? (23cm x 17.75cm)
– Child: 7.5″? x 7″? (19cm x 17.75cm)
– X-Long: 12 x 7″? (30.5cm x 17.75cm)
– Infant car seats: set of (2) 4″? x 7″? (10cm x 17.75cm)

Fabrics F, H, J, P, 8, 9, 10, 12, 15, and 17 are 100% quilting cotton flannel. The other fabrics are 100% quilting cotton. Fabrics U2, O, Y, Z, 13, 19, 32, 34, 35, and 39 have glitter. Fabrics D, 1, 25, 27, and 37 are shimmer foil printed.

Q1. What size seatbelt does this fit?
A1. They are designed to snugly fit seatbelts of international standard size 46 “? 49 mm (1.8″? – 1.9″?). If your belt is a different size, please contact me for a custom width.

Q2. I am worried the cover will be too tight/too loose, since the material is not stretchy.
A2. VELCRO® Brand hook and loop fastener will allow you to adjust the width ~0.5″? (12.7mm). If you want snaps with a tighter or looser fit, please contact me for a custom size. The designed width is designed to fit snug so the cover stays in place.

Q3. How do I put on the cover?
A3. The vertical quilting has a center column about ~2.5”? (6.35cm) wide. Center your belt in the channel then wrap the two sections around it. The quilting lines aid in easier folding and to keep the cover flat.

Q4. I want extra padding. Can I still get snaps?
A4. Standard T5 plastic snaps cannot be secured easily or reliably with extra padding, but I can instead use metal snaps with longer shanks.

Q5. I want to use this on my purse strap, dog lead, headphones, stroller strap, handle bar, etc. Can I do that?
A5. Please send me measurements of the width, diameter, and length where you want to use the cover. If one of my standard sizes will not work, I can make a custom size.
