Having trouble finding a coaster to suit larger mugs that you can toss in the wash? These are for you! I photograph all my mug rugs with 16oz cups that have wide bases. My mug rugs are also more generously sized to be used with a wide variety of glasses, mugs, bowls, and plates! I began making these after buying an antique table and wanting to protect the surface from hot mugs and plates without hiding the unique wood grain.

Each coaster or mug rug has 2 cotton layers and 2 layers of 100% cotton batting.
– The two cotton layers are heavily quilted to the batting for easy use with even the tipiest of cups.
– The top fashion fabric is a fabric of your choice.
– I pre-wash and dry all fabric on high heat before sewing to prevent shrinking.
– The corners are mitered so nothing will ever come loose, snap, or hide crumbs
– Unless otherwise indicated, the coasters and mug rugs can be machine washed and dried on low heat.
